The company believed middle-management was a key for implementing the changes because of their responsibility for translating strategies into action and managing teams to achieve objectives. The client identified behavioral problems with this group including lack of accountability and initiative as well as resistance to new ways of conducting business. Coca-Cola Brazil sought Hay Group to resolve these issues and to develop and provide training modules to address these needs.
